The camp features individual tents adorned with makuti that comprise a primary bedroom with the option of twin or double beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a generously sized verandah. Please specify your preference for twin beds or a double bed when making your reservation. Additionally, all tents can accommodate one extra bed suitable for children under the age of 16 years.
Family Tent
Tortilis Camp's Family Tent is a wonderful addition to this child-friendly safari camp in Amboseli, offering breathtaking vistas of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the serenity of your own private verandah. The Family Tent comprises one double en-suite bedroom, one twin en-suite bedroom, and a generously sized private verandah. Guests can also enjoy the shared swimming pool with the Private House. For families with children under the age of 16 years, both bedrooms can accommodate one extra bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
Private House
Tortilis Camp's Private House boasts a magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, standing majestically above the entire camp. This exclusive accommodation includes a comfortable en-suite double bedroom, an en-suite twin bedroom, and a spacious sitting room with a verandah. Guests can also enjoy the shared swimming pool with the Family Tent. For families with children under the age of 16 years, both bedrooms can accommodate one extra bed, ensuring a delightful and memorable stay.

“A jaw dropping experience at this 5* Luxury tented camp in the heart of Amboseli, with phenomenal views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and herds upon herds of elephant. It was amazing. Our guide Jonathan was incredible and his love for elephant’s was clearly displayed on every game drive along with his immense knowledge of the wild life and habitat he did everything to accommodate us. The staff at Tortillis were incredible in every aspect. They could not do enough for us. The ambiance views and service was nothing short of spectacular. Do not miss. We loved it.”
